BASS FARMS TEAMS UP WITH TESLA MOTORS AND PAULSON ELECTRIC
Tesla Destination Charging now offered as new amenity for guests
Mt. Vernon, IA
– Bass Farms has teamed up with Tesla Motors and Paulson Electric
to provide an increasingly desirable amenity: Tesla Destination Charging.
Tesla High Power Wall Connectors add 58 miles of range per hour to Model S, charging the vehicle overnight and replicating the convenience Tesla owners are accustomed to at home.
“As a producer of local, chemical-free produce the environment has always been a priority of ours,” said Chris Bass, owner of Bass Family Farms. “This charging station will help us, and our community, as we look to increase the sustainability of our operation.”
The number of electric vehicles in Iowa and the Corridor is growing, necessitating the installation of car charging stations and providing an opportunity for local businesses to draw in customers.
“Paulson Electric is proud to partner with businesses like Bass Farms to meet the growing need for electric car chargers,” said Tyler Olson, Vice President at Paulson Electric. “The increase in electric vehicles shows consumers’ interest in sustainability and businesses doing things like installing car chargers, energy efficiency measures, and solar power can see a big return on their investment.”
The charging station at Bass Farms is open to the public and will soon appear on websites dedicated to mapping the location of charging stations across the state and country.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony today, July 9, at 11:00AM at Bass Farms (1325 U.S. 30, Mt. Vernon).
