Brussel Sprouts – Simple Recipe

Yuck…….Right?

Wait, before you throw them in the trash or in the compost bin. They are excellent. If you are wondering what was on that stalk that we put into your box. What they are is Brussels Sprouts that I decided to pick a little early. We leave them on the stalk because they last longer. They are able to draw nutrients out of the stem even after they have been picked. Their will be more so you should at-least try to cook them. Not to mention that they are super healthy. They are also easy to cook as well.

Items Needed:

  1. Olive Oil
  2. Sprouts
  3. Butter
  4. Parmesan Cheese
  5. Other spices of your choice
  6. Medium Sauce-Pan

Directions: ( Use Discretional Amount Ingredient*)

  1. Wash the Brussel Sprout
  2. Break the Sprouts off of the Stalk
  3. Put Olive Oil*, Butter*, Parmesan* in Sauce Pan
  4. Put on Stove on Medium Heat
  5. Let oil heat up
  6. Put Sprouts In
  7. Put lid on & Cook until soft and lightly golden brown
