Roasted Brussels Sprouts on the Stalk

Total Time: 50 minutes

Roast the whole stalk, then cut off the individual brussels sprouts after they’re cooked.


  • Brussels sprouts stalk
  • Olive oil (about 1/4 cup)
  • Salt & pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place brussels sprout stalk on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and a generous amount of salt and pepper. Roast for about 45 minutes, turning 2-3 times during cooking for even browning.
  2. Once sprouts are browned and tender, remove from the oven. Let cool slightly, then cut off individual brussels sprouts. Serve on their own as a side dish or on a salad.
